Some people believe playing the lottery is wrong. Some see it as just a waist of money. Some see it as just plain stupid. Most modern day Christians believe it is a sin. What we don't realize is that we all gamble. Like it or not, it's true.
Everyday of our lives every one of us takes risks. We gamble. Yes, it's true. We just don't think about it, but we do.
The risks that we take, the gambles that we make are with something far more valuable than just a couple of dollars, pesos, yen, won, or whatever local currency you happen to use. We risk our very life each and every day... several times a day.
Some of these risks are "Blind Risks". Some of them are "Calculated Risks".
What is a "Blind Risk"? A "Blind Risk" is one that we take without ever thinking or analyzing the situation or possible outcome before taking the action.
Walking down the sidewalk of a busy street or driving our vehicle are examples of a blind risk. We have no idea when or if a careless driver will hit us causing injury or possibly even death, but we all do it almost each and every day.
Playing the lottery by picking random numbers (that we hope will win) is a blind risk. These numbers might be birth dates, age, wedding anniversary dates or something similar. Whatever the case, they are still just random numbers.
What is a "Calculated Risk"? A "Calculated Risk" is a risk whose degree of probability has been studied, analyzed and estimated before taking the action.
Opening a can of vegetables, a bottle of soda or taking medication for a headache are examples of calculated risks. Why are these "calculated" risks. Because we know that the Food & Drug Administration, Consumer Protection Agency or some other similar department in our government has inspected and ensured that the preparation and packaging of these products is done in a safe manner.
What if I told you there is a way that you can play the lottery using a "calculated risk"? What if I told you there is a way you can choose the numbers you play that would dramatically increase your chances of winning?
Would you be interested? I think we all would be interested.
It's not some big hidden secret. It's all over the Internet, but most of us simply don't know what it is or how to use it.
Come back tomorrow for part two when we will show you how to stop playing the lottery as a "blind risk" and how to start using a "calculated risk". Don't forget to invite your friends to join us as well.
